Evening in Vancouver

We ended up having lunch at a Singapore style bistro.  I had a green curry chicken made with chicken, curry, broccoli, and coconut milk.  There was also a spicy soup with bamboo shoots as a starter.  Soon it was time for our business meeting.  I think I was able to contribute my share and made it worth them bringing me out to meet these guys — lets just hope they become clients.  There is a good deal of potential traffic although it’s a long timeline until revenue.

After the meeting, we took the potential clients to a restaurant called Kettle of Fish — nice airy contemporary meal.  As a starter I had the calamari salad with baby spinach, calamari, sausage and baby octopus.  The entree was British Columbia wild salmon with spaetzle.  Dessert was a warm chocolate brownie with basil gelato (a surprisingly fresh and sweet tasting confection).  One of the clients and I compared travel notes.  Some recommendations I may want to look into: Banff/Jasper, Glacier National Park, and Highway One from California up through Oregon.

After dinner we went out for a bit of “live entertainment.”  I think my 4 am wake-up call is going to come very soon.  If I fall asleep now I may get 4.5 hours of sleep.
