Prepare for take-off

On board an older 767-300ER.  The drama so far is two sets of patrons with the same seats — not the same as our seats, but still scary.  Overhead space is very tight, but I barreled on board and claimed our turf.  We are a couple of minutes from take-off.  Seats are up.  Tray tables are stowed.  Looks like there was room for all patrons.  Listening to the flight announcements in Czech makes me pray Prague is filled with some English or French speakers — or even German in a pinch.  Of course, I do know how to say, “Pivo, prosim,” in Czech — or “beer, please.”  I would imagine that phrase should avert most crises.
