We ended up having lunch at a Singapore style bistro.\u00a0 I had a green curry chicken made with chicken, curry, broccoli, and coconut milk.\u00a0 There was also a spicy soup with bamboo shoots as a starter.\u00a0 Soon it was time for our business meeting.\u00a0 I think I was able to contribute my share and made it worth them bringing me out to meet these guys — lets just hope they become clients.\u00a0 There is a good deal of potential traffic although it’s a long timeline until revenue.<\/p>\n

After the meeting, we took the potential clients to a restaurant called Kettle of Fish — nice airy contemporary meal.\u00a0 As a starter I had the calamari salad with baby spinach, calamari, sausage and baby octopus.\u00a0 The entree was British Columbia wild salmon with spaetzle.\u00a0 Dessert was a warm chocolate brownie with basil gelato (a surprisingly fresh and sweet tasting confection).\u00a0 One of the clients and I compared travel notes.\u00a0 Some recommendations I may want to look into: Banff\/Jasper, Glacier National Park, and Highway One from California up through Oregon.<\/p>\n

After dinner we went out for a bit of “live entertainment.”\u00a0 I think my 4 am wake-up call is going to come very soon.\u00a0 If I fall asleep now I may get 4.5 hours of sleep.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
